CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:
Nathan is an
internet maker, creative strategist and lover of life. He spends way too much
time in front of a smattering of glowing screens, and therefore has a strong
personal motivation to make these experiences more meaningful. Nathan is the Co-Founder of Crush + Lovely -- a creative studio and consultancy that builds and amplifies
purpose driven brands. He is also the co-creator / producer of Fifty
People,
One Question -- an ongoing social experiment that aims to
capture a little slice of humanity while celebrating the connections
between people and place.

Naveen is co-founder of foursquare, a mobile-service which helps
people connect with people and places around them. Prior to this, he
was Lead Architect at Socialight and was a Senior Software Architect
with the Global Digital Business group at Sony Music Entertainment. In
this role, he oversaw and developed various applications that dealt
with content management and distribution of mobile products and was
the lead developer of Sony's Music Box mobile application. Before
Sony, he consulted for New York-based Run Tones and has enjoyed
software engineering stints at Sun Microsystems and Lucent
Technologies. Naveen holds a Master's degree in computer science from
Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Rachael Chong is Founder & CEO of Catchafire, a website that connects professionals who want to volunteer their skills with nonprofits and social entrepreneurs that need skilled volunteers. Catchafire Alpha is live for early adopters and Beta will launch this summer. Rachael was previously an investment banker, and prior to starting Catchafire, she worked alongside the President & CEO to start-up BRAC USA, the US affiliate of BRAC, one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the world. Rachael has a Master's of Public Policy from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University.
Caroline Woolard is a co-founder of OurGoods.org and Trade School. OurGoods is barter economy for creative
projects (currently in Alpha). Trade School, a non-traditional
learning environment where students barter for instruction, will
re-open this fall.
MEET at the APARTMENT
Meet at the Apartment is a two-story, 2,500 square-foot,
highly stylized open loft in the Soho district of New York City.
Fully engineered for creative thought to flourish, Meet has been
intuitively outfitted with idea-generating essentials: a library stocked
with art, design and photography reference books; a kitchen pantry
filled with goodies; and breakout rooms that could double as private
rooms in the trendiest NY clubs.
